I work in the eMarketing team, as the Creative Lead and am currently working on concepts for a new mini-site we aim to launch very soon.
So what's the site about?
It has a working title of 'Know your limits' and is intended to help educate our new or potential customers aswell as some existing ones also on the varying amounts of usage that websites use. We want to make people aware of what sort of bandwith streaming radio, or videos uses, and also other activities such as gaming, file sharing and of course plain old web browsing.
So here's where we need your help. There are 8 categories listed below, and if you could let us know the sites 'you' think are the most popular, coolest, or up and coming for each section (or as many as possible!) that would be really useful for us!
1 - Browsing/Emailing (blogging, communities, low bandwith sites)
2 - Music downloads
3 - streaming video
4 - Streaming Radio
5 - Photo Sites/uploads
6 - Gaming
7 - Instant Messaging Clients
8 - File sharing (P2P)
I look forward to reading all your responses here soon,
cheers
Spencer

Home Pages = F9 portal, BBC radio 2 (http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/mainframe.shtml?http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/radio2.shtml?listen>, Oracle Technology Network Home page (http://www.oracle.com/technology/index.html)
Regularly visit:
PHP site/documentation (http://uk2.php.net/manual/en/index.php)
W3C(http://www.w3.org/)
and lots of similar sites (I'm a bit of a nerd ).
Finally, I waste a lot of time with StumbleUpon (http://www.stumbleupon.com/) and thus visit too many sites to list.
