Keep getting disconnected

Similar sort of problem here too. My computer hasn't been on all the time so I don't have all the logs, but can see from the 'up' time in the log that there have been more disconnects. Router is Netgear DG834GT and until this started the connection had been solid for weeks if not months. What made me check the log was the surfing through treacle effect.

I'll try and get some further information from Networks regarding this and get back to you later on today.

We believe that we fixed this problem around 5pm on the 28th.
If you are still seeing disconnections twice an hour (half an hour apart) multiple times a day, please let me know.
If you are seeing disconnections that do not show this pattern, it's not related to this problem.

James what is the significance of the 17 and 43 minute time, I had an uptime of 6 days since a gateway jump ad at 12:43 I was disconnected until about 12:45, justr looked at my stats, seems I lost it again at 17 past

when it happened  i jumped gateway was on pcl03 now, You are currently connected to the "Telehouse North, Juniper 6" gateway. This gateway is sometimes known as thn-ag1.
if you are going to do this can we have more notice

just come back from the kitchen to find I was offline. Disconnected sometime in the last half hour?  Been online problem free all day prior to this as far as I know. Don't know how to find the stats others are giving or indeed if they are available with a speedtouch modem.
