Matt
Thanks for the reply.
I wish someone would explain the whole SNR and Loop Att thing
In Engineering we have to change one thing at a time to find out what the issue is.
Your Engineer said that the Loop Att of 16.5 made him think that SNR needed to be reduced. He said this could be done at the exchange after the stabilisation period lockdown.
This seems completely at odds with what you say Matt
Something has changed since the intervention of S yesterday at 17:08, now the router will establish a connection below 8mb which at least means I get a connection but does not identify where the problem is.
Thanks for the reply.

@Zap
Thanks for your time tonight.
I've updated your ticket with most of what we covered in our call. Apologies it looks a little messy in the presentation of it but I hope the overall message gets over :).
@Matt/Jo
FYI; I'm not back in office until Tuesday. I'm going to put further internal notes what I want doing on this case so when I come back its a case of we can pick up where we left off

Thanks Spencer
Just feels good that someone is on the case.
It seems to me that this whole SNR thing is about trying to find a config that works, you configuring it so that SNR could go as high as it liked made for a lower speed connection which worked more reliably as it kept connections below 8mb.
I got the new Router today and it seems to be more suited to the equipment at the exchange because it connected and seems to be at 440 / 14,081
We will monitor until you get back on Tuesday.
Thanks for your help!
