Java problem with BT Speedtest

Hi All,
Can anyone please make some sense of this?
I've been trying to use the BT Speedtester, but all I see is a yellow message box announcing - "You do not have Java applets enabled in your web browser."
All other sites using Java are fine. I've got the latest update, and have checked that the right boxes are ticked in IE6 and the Java Control Panel. OS is XP.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

upgrade to IE7  Grin
go into add remove programs and remove all the  versions of java - the upgrade leaves the older ones behind - then reinstall

Thanks Oldjim - I'll do that if push comes to shove. From what I've read elsewhere, though, people having a problem with Firefox found it was OK with IE6.

Re: Java problem with BT Speedtest

Hmmm... weird.
I removed Java (TM) 6 Update 7 and then tried the BT site. A pop-up invited me to download J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 7, whih I did.
The BT site then worked fine. After going back to Java (TM) 6 Update 7 - it still works fine.  Huh
