Is this IP profile limiting my speed ?

i did a speed test and quickly realised i am not very good understanding whats going on.
The BT Speed  test came out at 60.05mbps today and 60.02 mbps last night, one thing i noticed was that it said the IP Profile is 61.77 Mbps.
my speed seems very close to this profile limit, could this actually be limiting my top speed or am i just a fool

The profile is automatically calculated from the sync speed and in the case of fibre the sync speed is 1.033 x the profile so you are really being limited by your sync speed which is largely determined by the wire length from you to the cab

But as Oldjim didn't quite mention, the IP profile does limit your speed.  It limits it to the fastest speed that your line is capable of for real data.
