Is the TG582n Router compatible with the Edimax EW7717-UN USB wireless adaptor?

I have had my existing (Plusnet-supplied) Thomson 585v7 router for two and a quarter years now and although it still works ok it is only wireless-g and I sometimes have signal strength issues although not so bad as to be problematic. However, the fact is that I am heavily reliant on my home broadband connection and as I don't currently have a spare router I thought it might be a good idea to order the current Plusnet offering and keep the Thomson as a spare.
I don't have a wireless card on my current PC but have used an Edimax EW7717-UN USB adaptor since it was recommended to me in November 2010 by Oldjim (thanks again  Smiley ). So all I need to know is if the Technicolor TG582n and the Edimax EW7717-UN are compatible?
