Simple question if someone can help... ? Had a look and only thing I've found so far is in the TG585v6 manual. It mentions ADSL2+ on the POTS (Plain Old Telephone System) but doesn't specifically state the TG585v6 is ADSL2+
Any help appreciated!

Thanks for the speedy answer! I'm now gutted because I spent 20 quid on a TP-Link TD8840 and my old 585v6 would have done. The guy from PlusNet support said the 585v6 wasn't ADSL2+ and I wouldn't get full speed - especially during my first 10 days!
Th 585v6 is still configured for Bethere (PPPoE in bridged mode) but it works totally fine now I've moved over to PlusNet and I didn't notice any difference in speed - though I only get between 4-5mbps.

Keep your 585V6 as a 'spare', you never know when a router might fail, everyone should have a back-up if possible. Twenty quid is a very small investment for decent broadband. don't feel' gutted', rather accept that you now have spare kit to test your line if ever needed.
