Hi All
I hate coming onto this forum as its usually a result of a bad experience.
Anyway....
All my ports seem to be blocked. I've tried 10 different ones now and none work. I keep getting port closed when I use www.canyouseeme.org/ or www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/.
I tried all the common ones and nothing worked. I called the helpline but those people are useless and couldn't help me at all and suggested I post here.
Prviously ports that were open would mysteriously become blocked but I managed to work around the problem. This time I haven't been able to.
I'm using Vuze.
Thanks
Eddie

What is your router make/model?
What ports are you trying to open
Is the router set to use UPNP?
Is Vuse set to use UPNP?
Does Vuse say the firewall is green or red?
Does a router reboot solve the problem?
Does a PC reboot solve the problem?
Are you running any software firewalls? Have you configured them correctly? If you turn this off does it make any difference?
Do you have the plusnet broadband firewall enabled? - see under connection settings on the member centre page.

I have 4 ports that are open and working fine.
Are your forwarding the ports manually on your router or relying on plug n play?
If it's uPnP I suggest you configure port forwarding in your router.

As Peter said the first thing to check is the Plusnet firewall: https://portal.plus.net/my.html?action=firewall
One thing not said is that when you make changes to your PN firewall configuration you MUST disconnect/reconnect for the changes to take effect.
