Is my exchange enabled or not

Hi,
I noticed that Sam Knows (http://www.samknows.com/broadband/exchange/ESIKG) listed my exchange as being enabled for WBC (ADSL2+) on 31/5/2009, so I raised a ticket (#29581273) on 4th August. to join the ADSL2+ trial  This got picked up for processing on 18th September, but then on the 19th, I was told that my exchange (Inverkeithing, ESIKG) was not enabled. Sad
Since then, my ticket has been going back and forward with the DSL migrations team about whether my exchange is actually enabled.  I keep getting referred to the exchange status at http://usertools.plus.net/exchanges/?exchange=Inverkeithing&exact=1414, which says that "The estimated go live date is between 1st June 2009 and 30th September 2009".  This ties up with Sam Knows history as of 9/11/2008, but is out of date as of the update on 31/5/2009.
Surely Sam Knows has more up to date information in this case and my exchange is enabled.  Or am I missing something?
Thanks,
Andy.

Re: Is my exchange enabled or not

The BT Broadband Availability Checker does not mention ADSL2+ for my line.  I guess that means it's not available yet.  Cry

Re: Is my exchange enabled or not

mine says
Your exchange is ADSL enabled, and our initial test on your line indicates that your line should be able to have an ADSL broadband service that provides a fixed line rate up to 2Mbps.
Our test also indicates that your line currently supports a potential ADSL Max broadband line rate of 6Mbps or greater.
Our test also indicates that your line currently supports a potential ADSL2+ broadband line rate of 7Mbps or greater.
The actual stable line rate supportable will be determined during the first 10 days of use. This rate may change over time, to ensure line stability is maintained.
If you decide to place an order, a further test will be performed to confirm if your line is suitable for the service you wish to purchase.
Thank you for your interest.
