Re: Is it possible?

Hey guys, did they upgrade go forward as planned a couple of days ago?
If so could you switch us over to the new higher speed connection and uncap the upload as well please?
Look forward to hearing from you,
Chris x

HI Woody3600,
[quote=BT Availability Checker]Your exchange is planned to have ADSL2+ by 1st April 2012.
Looks like there's been some delay. Sad

Re: Is it possible?

Woody3600,
The best way for you to keep an eye on things is to put your telephone number in to https://www.btwholesale.com/includes/adsl/main.html
Once that says you can get ADSL2+ post back on here and PN will upgrade you pretty quickly.

Re: Is it possible?

[quote=BT Availability Checker]Our test also indicates that your line currently supports an estimated ADSL2+ broadband line speed of 17Mbps; typically the line speed would range between 10Mbps and 19.5Mbps.
Wooo!!! Smiley I'll place to order for you.

Re: Is it possible?

This makes me very happy indeed =D When can i expect it to be in effect?
Once it's done, can i request that the upoad is uncapped? Sidenote, would that make the connection less stable?
Thanks x

Re: Is it possible?

It's due on the 12th (slightly longer than normal due to the bank holidays) but I've placed the order with uncapped upload anyway Smiley

Re: Is it possible?

Hey Jo,
The Ping is down at 15, fantastic, the upload is now 0.88 not 0.35, fantastic, but the download is still only cmoing in at 8 and not the 10-19 that you said it would, any reason for this?
Thanks, x

Re: Is it possible?

It doesn't look like the profile has lifted on one of our supplier's systems. Can you run a BT Speed test to see what IP profile it's giving you?
