Since you posted using your mother's account name have you logged into her account on your line? Any chance your routers have got broadband usernames and passwords mixed up?

No chance, it works fine wired & wireless for x amount of time, then dies

Is the router overheating - is it hot to the touch ?
Have you another router you can try ?
Are the power management settings for the network adapters correct i.e un ticked to allow windows to power them down

Hmmmm interesting
When i set up the router i made sure i applied a password so that no-one could access the router settings.
I arrive and tried to login, but it kept saying incorrect password, i tried ALL variations but nothing.
I rebooted the router to factory settings put in the Plusnet details again and away we went.
It seems as someone may have gained access to the router (how i have no idea) and changed the connection settings (how i dont know, the router may be faulty of course)
Will keep an eye on it but seems very odd!
