Re: Internet constantly cutting out

That's not looking too bad, a little lower than the estimate though. If it's not too much trouble, would you mind keeping on running a few Speed Tests throughout today?
I'm about to chase this issue up now with the escalation owner to get some information on all the work that has been carried out today. I'll keep you updated.

No problem, i'll do them every hour or so and i'll report if there's any drastic changes.

Re: Internet constantly cutting out

The connection just dropped for about 5 minutes. Speed checks are coming back all about the same.
I looked at the router when the connection dropped and the red light was on, which it didn't always come up on the previous drops, so perhaps an unrelated 'one-off', but i'll still keep my eye on it.

Re: Internet constantly cutting out

Certainly not a one off. The past half hour its been completely unusable, going on and off literally every minute

Re: Internet constantly cutting out

I restarted the modem as advised in the Plusnet Assist thing and it seems to have settled down again now. Speedtest now coming up 22 down and 17 up.

Thanks for the information here. I'll chase that up again tomorrow morning. As promised I'll give you a call tomorrow and we will get some movement on this.

Re: Internet constantly cutting out

I haven't been able to go online from about Wednesday until last night. But since I came back on I haven't noticed any drop outs, so could I request one of those graphs to take a look please?
Connection does seem stable at the moment but it's slowed down to about 14/15 down and about 12 up.

Hi,

Your connection has been nothing short of sporadic. Have you managed to remove the trim at all? I'd quite like to give you a call this afternoon so we can discuss where we take this from here?

Just for your information:

Connection is looking much more stable now. Will still continue to monitor the situation though.

Just another graph to show that the connection is looking pretty stable at the moment.

Re: Internet constantly cutting out

Blimey, who's fixed what? Did you have any joy finding out if OR had done any external cable repairs Chris (that may have affected several customers perhaps)?
