Internet connection problems

Anyone else having problems today?
My connection has been up & down all day. I can access the Plusnet site & forums, but not the rest of the internet. I've tried changing the DNS settings in my router, and I've tried a spare router...
The routers don't seem to drop the connection when the web is inaccessible.
Any known problems? My exchange is not shown as having any issues either.

Yes, I have had a lot of problems today. My router was using the Plusnet DNS servers and while I was browsing and checking email it all went wrong (the router reported it could no longer connect to either DNS server). I had to switch to OpenDNS and reboot my router to get things working again.
I had been connected to pcl-ag01 when DNS stopped working. Now I am connected to pte-ag2 and things are OK ... but it has only been a few minutes so far.

Sounds familiar - I tried Opendns too and it made no difference.
Currently all OK (connected to pcl-ag03)....

Choppy for me this afternoon, Browsing is very hit and miss currently.

We're just gone to "Amer" traffic management mode because of the insane amounts of traffic coming through iPlayer currently - over 2Gbps.
We expect things to improve around 6-7pm tonight once the match has finished.

mine was very lumpy this morning, could get the Forum OK, but a lot of others were taking 30-40 seconds to load, later about 16:00 only 2 to 4
