Thanks,  I will run RouterStats for the next 24 hours or so and see if the increase in the SNR helps.
I called from my mobile to check and the upstream Bit errors jumped from 0 to 1,222 on this call.  The connection didn't appear to drop so it may be having some effect on the line or maybe it's intermittent, i will keep checking it and see how it goes.

Just a quick update on this - I've just received a notification that there's an engineer working at the exchange today. Hopefully things will be better after hes completed the task.

The BT engineer arrived at my home this morning about 11.30 am. I must say it was a bit of a surprise as i wasn't expecting it, I have just looked at the forum and seen your update. He checked all the line and was very thorough, he changed the wiring a bit, after doing more tests he said the line was looking really good, after completing all his tests he did say the SNR Margin would be better left at 6db as 3 was too low.
So far everything seems to be good, regarding the Bit Errors he did say it should not cause any problems. I will monitor this for a day or two to see how it goes.
Should i reply to the ticket update you left this morning?

A new view of your modem stats would be useful please.
Are you still seeing spikes in error rates on inbound calls?

@Jack T.  Everything seems fine now, will keep checking for a few days to see how it goes.
@Townman  Hi Kevin.  Still getting the spike in upstream Bit Errors as you will see from the stats.  the BT engineer said this should not cause any problems as i get very few incoming calls, as i can't disagree with this not knowing what the outcome would be if i did get a lot of calls i will monitor the connection and see what happens.
