After a long long day of phone calls I've managed to make an agreement with the office whereby the engineer has to call ahead and make an appointment and he will then be accompanied on his work by a member of the housing staff. However, I've been told there's no way to get this message to the engineer as he most likely won't read the visit notes until he arrives on the scene? I'm scared that the office will just say they told him to phone ahead and make him wait or something - is there absolutely no way of ensuring the engineer has the message before he attends the job, as surely BTwholesale have a list of who will be doing it...? I really can't afford for this problem to go on any longer!

All we can do is ask that the notes are passed on, which we will do - unfortunately though there seems to be no guarantee they'll get there. I'd recommend letting the landlord know the times/dates when the engineer's booked, if possible have someone ready. That'd be the best way, if they're willing to do that.

Hi, thanks for your ongoing help, the engineer came today and managed to fix the problem in the cabinet and I now have functioning internet - is there any form of update or something I have to do in order to achieve my increased fibre speed now? I have not managed to get more than 12Mb down but have had a couple of tests show 20Mb up?
