Intermittent DNS drop-outs

Hi,
I've been noticing intermediate DNS drop-outs for the last 2 or three days. The Router is using DNS addresses 212.159.6.10 as primary, 212.159.6.9 as secondary - settings are supplied to the router by the ISP.
Anyone know what is going on?

Re: Intermittent DNS drop-outs

I had the same problem as you yesterday and solved it by switching my secondary DNS server to 208.67.222.222 (Open DNS). I'm wondering what the best configuration is going forward though and have posted a question about this here http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,80867.msg674777.html#new

Re: Intermittent DNS drop-outs

If you mistype a URL when using Open DNS it will lie and return a website depending on who pays them the most money.
Google's DNS doesn't lie.

@youngpete
We weren't aware of any DNS problems on the 26th, there was a data transfer issue on the 24th however.

@Chris
It's a shame that the DNS Response Times are not working...
