Intermittent Connection

I am being slightly irritated over the last few days that my service is intermittent and very slow. I keep getting the 'Thomson Gateway' page when trying to load up a page when the router is connected and when I am connected, it is painfully slow! Not impressed!  Angry

Hi cherylmgreen,
I can see it's been dropping a lot in the last couple of days. Have a look here for some tips. Once you've done that come back and let me know what you've tried.

Thanks JoJo. I have tried the tips and checked the BT Line and all is well there. Unfortunately I do not have an alternative modem I can connect. Do you have any further tips I could try please, as the internet connection service is normally excellent?

You need to leave it in the test socket, that's the main one I'd say. How long has it been in there now?
