Re: Interleaving?

Well it's still up at 35MB  Smiley
Just out of curiosity what is the router that is supplied with FTTC these days? Mine is the netgear  WNR1000.

Re: Interleaving?

What does this mean?
GEC test: FTR (TT in hand wth OR)
escalate and request ODC for DCN as most drops user requests
Specifically user requested drops?

Update on my ticket?

Hi,
Can any PN staff give me an update on my fault ticket?
Also a graph to see if I am still experiencing drops?
Thanks
Chris.

Re: Interleaving?

Hi there,
The drops showing as user request means that our RADIUS platform has received a request to stop the connection from the router. This could indicate a faulty router, but more likely it's that the router is sending a request to disconnect as it's picked up the increase in noise on the line and knows the connection will drop anyway.
The others are related to the test results, I believe FTR is Fault Threshold Rate (i.e. your speed has dropped below the minimum that your line should be at, in this case as a result of the connection drops and errors seen on the line). TT is either Trouble Ticket or possibly Triage Team (a specific team within Openreach). OR is Openreach themselves.
Hope that helps explain Smiley

Re: Update on my ticket?

Hi there,
We haven't had an update yet on the escalation that was raised a few days ago, I've sent a request through for one as I'd expect us to have received on by now. Hopefully w'll have a reply to that very soon and we'll be able to discuss where we can take things from there.
Here's the connection logs you've asked for, the drops are looking a little more sporadic but there's clearly still an issue.

Not sure we needed another post for that.
Hope that helps though Smiley

Re: Update on my ticket?

That's right, the drops are shown by each dash (vertically) that you can see.

Re: Interleaving?

Will the triage team actually try to get to the bottom of the drops in connection?
Or will I get  "that's the speed your line can support so your stuck with it" Or "your getting 18MB which is fast enough"?

Re: Interleaving?

We hope so and we hope not, in that order.
If it does end up being the latter we'll chase it if we can do.
