Incorrect cap

Hi all,
I was suffering severe speed limitations on my broadband PAYG service, since about 8 January with the same symptoms that I see many have been reporting here.  I normally get 4000kpbs+, but was getting only 302kbps although the BT line test said I should get more like 5Mbps.
PlusNet have now responded to my ticket saying an "incorrect cap" had been applied and has now been lifted.  Sure enough, my speeds are back up to normal.
I wonder how many other people this has happened to...

Hi there,
Looking at your account and recent fault it looks like there was a stuck profile at the exchange, this can happen from time to time, but usually resolves itself.
