IPV6 ready router?

When will they be produced in mass, if they are now which would be a good one to possibly buy in the future?

Re: IPV6 ready router?

HI antiFX,
Having a bit of a browse around google it seems that there are the odd one or two 'out of the box' IPv6 enabled routers but not a high demand at the moment.

Re: IPV6 ready router?

I just stumbled upon this one: http://www.netgear.com/home/products/wirelessrouters/high-performance/WNDR3800.aspx ; the spec says 'IPv6 Support (Internet Protocol Version 6)' in the section marked 'standards'

Re: IPV6 ready router?

RIPE have been running a user-contributed survey to attempt to capture known CPE devices confirmed as supporting IPv6 (for various meanings of the word 'support'), the latest results of which can be found here.

On this topic ("IPV6 ready router?") I just found these links -
"How Do I Know If My Router Is IPv6 Compatible?" - http://www.pcadvisor.co.uk/opinion/network-wifi/3279518/how-do-i-know-if-my-router-is-ipv6-compatibl...
and from that page a link to a test to see what your setup is currently capable of - http://testmyipv6.com/
