IPStreamConnect on PN in light on Enta.net experience

Hello PN.
At some point PN is we guess going to close down all Centrals and move people over to IPStreamConnect (IPSC).
Enta.net have moved over to IPSC and are not currently being able to provide the same quality of service to users as they could using Centrals.
Has PN been keeping an eye on the Enta.net situation and what could that mean for PN customers?

Yes.  We won't be making the same mistakes.
We haven't decommissioned any centrals and in fact have more on order and only just lit another segment.

Re: IPStreamConnect on PN in light on Enta.net experience

It is not obvious from what I can see/read that Enta.net made mistakes, it seems BTW made up or changed the T&C's at the last minute. Though what is written on the TBB and ADSL24 forums could be unreliable information.

Re: IPStreamConnect on PN in light on Enta.net experience

It's generally accepted that about 10% of orders on any platform (IPStream /LLU/WBC) will experience an ELF (Early Life Fault).
So if you're going to be moving people onto a different platform en masse, you'll get a lot of faults.  All at once.

Re: IPStreamConnect on PN in light on Enta.net experience

The EntaNet problems were not as far as I can tell due to ELF, it was more the manner in which the data went through the WBC nodes, specifically the amount of badnwidth Enta bough at each node and how BTW changed the T&C's when that capacity is used.
