Hi,
I seem to have a similar issue to some other people with my IP profile being stuck at a low speed on the plusNET end.
I've just run a BT speedtest that gave the following info#:
Test1 comprises of Best Effort Test: -provides background information.
Your DSL connection rate: 3616 kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 448 kbps(UP-STREAM)
IP profile for your line is - 2000 kbps
Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 1838 kbps
My router has been syncing at above 3000 kbps for at least a week, yet it hasn't changed the IP profile for some reason. Speedtests show a download speed of 1.8 Mbps as per the profile.
Can my IP profile be set to 3000 kbps or higher please?

AFAIK PlusNet don't have any control over the IP Profile that BT set only what appears in the member centre here https://portal.plus.net/my.html?action=data_transfer_speed
Are you sure there have been no points where you have had a synch under 2848 in the past few days?
