Re: IP Profile change please

My speed drops in wet weather.
I guess a duct fills up with water.
Has your speed drop coincided with the latest rain?

Re: IP Profile change please

HI DBB,
There seems to have been a slight improvement with your profile now 1750 on both PN & BT systems. The sync rate is now 2336k which is about right for the 9dB SNR. The only way to possibly get this any higher would be the reset the SNR but there's no guarantees that this wouldn't increase again.
There were a few disconnections yesterday. Were these intentional disconnections?

So when I was on a stable 2500 this was a fantasy that everyone was having.

No. I am seeing I've been connected for 69 hours.

Speed is down by over 30 percent.
And still see no-one wants to talk compensation here for this.

Hi DBB,
[quote=DBB]So when I was on a stable 2500 this was a fantasy that everyone was having.
That's not what i said:
[quote=Joanne Pilson]The only way to possibly get this any higher would be to reset the SNR
So, I don't doubt for a moment that you have received these speeds before, I'm just trying to offer a way to achieve it.
[quote=DBB]I am seeing I've been connected for 69 hours
The fact that the disconnections weren't intentional answered my question, I suspect you are seeing the router's uptime.
I've just checked your connection logs and there have been no more drops since the one at 23:00 on Sunday so if it's still stable tomorrow I can try the reset if you like?

OK, do it. What have I got to lose. its been how many weeks since I've reported this and all that seems to have happened is bt came out once and changed a master socket.
Would someone like to call me and say exactly what sort of compensation I'm getting for this (lack of) service.

Re: IP Profile change please

and its now "tomorrow" and absolutely no action, no update to the fault call, no reset, no calls from plusnet.
Only change has been a falling sync rate, and when that hits zero that still above the rating I'd give you for your service.

Re: IP Profile change please

Hi DBB,
I've now reset your SNR. This can take a few hours to complete. If this is successful then the sync rate should lift and the IP Profile should follow. The reset will also initiate the 10 day training period so hopefully we can improve things for you.
