IP Profile (DLM) reset request

Would it be possible to have my ip profile (DLM) reset as im suffering with poor throughput speeds and my speed has dropped below the acceptable range and high ping response changing gateway has not helped this issue .As you can see from the bt wholesale checker my line is capable of speeds between 71Mbps and 80Mbps.

Re: IP Profile (DLM) reset request

Hi there.
Unfortunately we're not able to remotely reset a FTTC line. This can only be done by a engineer.
If you run through our troubleshooter using the link below we can get this organised for you

Re: IP Profile (DLM) reset request

Iplayer and ITV Player are now unwatchable due to the poor speeds even simple web browsing is taking an age to load its been 24hours since a fault ticket was raised and as yet no response despite the ticket saying we'll be in touch within 24 hours if issue is not resolved then i may have no alternative but to ask for my MAC code .
This speed for a 71Mbps FTTC Line is just unacceptable.

Re: IP Profile (DLM) reset request

Sounds like a fault, DLM would only kick in if line was unstable (Cause by a possibly fault) or if you reboot.

Re: IP Profile (DLM) reset request

48 hours ive been waiting for my fault to be acknowledged and still no response ticket ref  #80612515 and also see this link for the attached speed tests well below the acceptable speed ranges.
Iv'e also done the quiet line test which was clear of any noise connection is via ethernet cable 5 different cables tested and all with the same result.

Hmmm another thread with a connection issue & a home hub 5.
Always worth going back to the original install setup of the BT openreach Modem.

Re: IP Profile (DLM) reset request

Connected as in the test set-up with just the Openreach modem via pppoe  Dialler ?  (no hubs /other routers )
http://community.plus.net/library/broadband/fibre-help-how-to-set-up-a-pppoe-dialler-in-vistawindows...
(The Hub 5 has reported Lan port issues so that needs to be removed from any fault finding tests....)
