Re: I ( use to ) want to quit trial

o.k well now at 02.44 theres no packet loss and iam synced at the same 4544 i was before when getting packet loss.
i didnt check pings after 1am till now so it would seem there is somthing funky going off still with the traffic mangment even tho pings are back to normal.
if you havent had this brought to your attention yet dave then theres a problem with iplayer being classed as 0x60 as well on 21cn http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,76296.0.html
gd luck with the work load today dave

i had no problems for the past 2 years and even if it was a case of stuck on trial or move to a new provider i wouldnt touch virgin with a barge pole

i will be looking else were for better latency so i can start gaming again
.
and when say things like that in this thread it's just the red mist at that moment. i come to my senses in the morning and remember why i moved to plusnet 2 years ago Wink

I a aware its a trial, but the problem i have is i will never get the speeds from ADSL to watch HD films on line, i am also looking forward to ONLIVE.

As for customer service i think Plusnet will be hard to beat.

dave you've pretty much answered the packet loss over in the iplayer thread so if your busy dont feel you need to repeat your self here again Wink
i will just add that pings were tip top Smiley but the packet loss was getting me disconnected from cod waw rooms left right and centre and had a very strange experience of being left in a match on my own half way through with pack of angry dogs Grin
