Nope, nothing to do with that.
It's to enable our IPStream Connect trial.

Re: I ( use to ) want to quit trial

bang on midnight and i got signed out of XBL i could sign back in but that shows you how bad packet loss and latency is when the rate limits are raised , checked my pings shocking .
you seem to have calmed down latency when rates change at 10, 11 but midnight i just dont think traffic mangment was ever designed to handle 21mb thoughput and goes into melt down when everything is at line speed
i so want to stick this out till you fix things but not being able to game during some of gamings prime time midnight-2am is killing me

Re: I ( use to ) want to quit trial

geting low and stable ish now at just before 2am.
when they started to drop and stablize bettween1 -2am i dont know but just before 1am they where averaging at 30-40 and spiking at 150ish as the guys on iirc will tell you as i tried to play top trumps with ping times with them not knowing they were all on the trial
if you could get latency to these levels at midnight- 1am. then i would disapper back in to my box(an x shapped one) never to annoy you guys again Smiley

Re: I ( use to ) want to quit trial

dave did the bandwidth get lit on satarday.
as gaming was fine till midnight but i jumped off thinking it's going to lag any way and jumped back on to cod waw at 00.45 and the lag meter was 4 bars and i was host for a full hour that played it. Smiley
looking at the packet drop graph i would of thought i would of seen lag in the afternoon of satarday but didnt. was messing about with windows 7 rc last night so didnt get round to doing any pings.
did you do any more tweaking or was satarday a fluke?
EDIT.
i think this would be the reason latency is gd at the mo http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,76296.0.html

Re: I ( use to ) want to quit trial

Smiley Smiley Smiley
alot better
iam not sure if the major packet loss is down to a resync i just did that got the same sync speed as one done midday Crazy http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,75667.msg612229.html#msg612229
i will try and force the DLM into thinking ive got a line fault and get it to drop sync speed and see if the packet loss is still there
