Re: I want to quit trial

I'm not sure what pinging the gateway will prove. The job of the gateway is to route traffic, responding to a ping is a secondary task. If it has time to reply it will, if it doesn't it will delay the reply. This won't make any difference to the performance of the traffic that it routes (and is designed so that it doesn't). What happens if you ping something else?
This mine just now (on the Chesterfield exchange on 21CN)

How much are you offering for mine on RIN? Pinging one of the other servers within the Plusnet suite in London takes other variables out of the equation.

Considering I am on PAYG and Max Premium I wouldn't expect to see any degradation compared with RIN.

Re: I want to quit trial

There's something wrong with the Plusnet network and it's not specific to one gateway - see http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,76055.0.html
