Hub One Router - Connecting a Mesh Router

I have a Plusnet Hub One Router and have just bought a Gryphon Mesh router - I have been advised by Gryphon that as I am unable to connect the Gryphon directly to the wall jack, I have to connect an ethernet cable to either 1 through 4 on the Plusnet, to the Internet connector on the back of the Gryphon. However, when I do this, the Gryphon does not receive signal. Is there anything I need to do to the Hub One to enable this setup?

@Sharky666  Welcome to the forum.

You should switch off the Hub One wireless but more importantly the Gryphon should be set up as an Access Point, not a router.

Re: Hub One Router - Connecting a Mesh Router

I got back to trying this and have failed. I have switched off the firewall on the router, disconnected WiFi and still no luck. The Gryphon is not getting connection to the internet despite testing the ports/cables on another device.
There's either another setting that I'm overlooking, or this PLUSNET router is not the best device to use for the purpose of using the Gryphon and needs replacing.
