How would I remove a possible Stealthed transparent proxy service?

Tried to send a free text message using one the free UK text messaging services and it said you are unable to send texts in your country it is only for the UK!
I tried a test I found via google which suggested I could have a Stealthed transparent proxy as the serial number didn't  change and when I re-loaded the page it was aging in minutes not seconds.
Helpful advice would be appreciated.
Many Thanks

I think you've probably mis-diagnosed the problem.  Plusnet do not use proxies, stealthed or otherwise.
It's far more likely that your current IP address has been deemed to be in the USA as some geo-location databases hold old (incorrect data).  Does your address start 146.xxx.xxx.xxx by any chance?  Try disconnecting and reconnecting from Plusnet and see if your IP address changes and the problem goes away.

Log off via the router interface, wait a few minutes, then log on again.
