How long.......plz

How long does it take after open reach has installed fiber for you. to wait till line gets activated.by PN.
My engineer had completed the work by 08.30 this morning.

This should be pretty much instant, although I've seem problems with other members especially when upgrading from ADSL to VDSL(fibre).
