How long did your fibre take to activate?

Hi,
Feeling alittle sad that night time is here and i'm still on same extra speed of 2.5mb.
How long did it take for yours to activate?

It is not clear from your post if you have had FTTC installed or not.
Are you waiting for it to be installed, or you have had it nstalled (when?) and you are waiting for the speed to ibncrease?
If a new install, BT can take a couple of days to inform Plusnet that the FTTC has been activated after which plusnet will set the correct profile at their end. If you have had an install and been waiting more than 2 days, give support a ring and tell them.
If you are waiting for an install, it can take 2 or 3 weeks before plusnet can place your order

Bt  man installed my fibre modem yesterday at around 11.am.
Next morning and still on the same crappy speeds.

Why is fibre broadband need ip profile rate for ? Fibre optic don't need bras ip profile rate! Silly of BT to do this.

All sorted now, got the pro addon aswell and i've gone from a max of around 280kbs to a solid 4.0mb down speed, thats around a 14x increase in speed.
I did call plusnet, i found out i was still on my last profile so they changed it for me there and then, a quick 5 min walk back home and i had 37mb line speed, nice, who knows how long it would of took otherwise.
Customer service was awsome!

Yes i'm very impressed, it sure is a life changer, i feel like i have a new leese on life, lol, sad but true!
Hd streaming is now a reality for me.
