How long after fibre upgrade will it take to see increased line speed?

Upgraded yesterday to fibre broadband... However still seeing the same line speed as the previous ADSL connection.
Tested before upgrade 10.3M
Straight after upgrade approx 27.0M
Currently back to 10.3M
Does something need to be changed with my account details to give greater speed?
