How is essential classifed in terms of performance stats

Hi
I'm looking at the packet drop graphs to see if its worth my while going pro while I do my course to save myself the hassle of having traffic dropped during busy times (Ive had a couple of network timeout errors when browsing which I presume is symptomatic of a gold traffic drop?) while I study.
Can you advise whether Essential customer inbound traffic is assigned the PAYG profile please or am I reading the graphs incorrectly?
Thanks

Hi Mitch,
Essential traffic is treated in the same way as BBYW Option 1.
It would only be "advanced traffic" that would be assigned lower profiles and you'vwe mentioned in the past that you don't use P2P or the like.

I'll see how it goes but might put in a request to up the package if I find I'm hammering the bandwidth (spoke to a colleague who did the course I am and he reckoned he got by on a 2GB package)
However, since joining PN I've become rather partial to listening to the Essential Mix on iPlayer which works wonderfully thanks to the private peering  Smiley
Thanks for the reply.
