How do you turn wireless off?

How do you turn wireless off?
My next door neighbour tells me that if I’m not using the wireless part of my modem/router, I should disable it or switch it off.   Can any tell me how to do that?  I’m using the Speedtouch 585 v7.0.
Thanks
Jessica

Re: How do you turn wireless off?

Unscrewing the aerial generally works as well if you're not confident about changing configurations.  Wink

Re: How do you turn wireless off?

it only one click enable or not, thats easier than removing the antenna

Some of the Thomson's have non-removable aerials too, I think.

Re: How do you turn wireless off?

Thanks Guys,
I just disabled it.  Pointless having it on if I don't use it.
Cheers,
