Looking at the results you've posted, speedof me is reporting a latency of 52 ms and speedtest.net 29 ms.
For a visual report use http://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest.html which is London based. If you don't have an account on there use the alternate speedtester which is linked just above as this also gives you the results of single and multi threaded downloads.

Sure, but that wasn't the issue I was examining. Wink I was specifically looking at what was influencing my upload speed.
Plusnet sadly had interleaving turned on, on my line, during the spray-and-pray phase of trying to fix my connection issues. A ping of 29ms is exceptional but actually not typical for me at the moment. The gaming servers I connect to are more typically US-based, so the speedof.me ping is actually more relevant to my personal circumstances. Smiley

For ping, it finds somewhere in the middle Smiley
