Re: House move help (from old forum) for comms team

According to my ticket I'm now active!?
I haven't checked yet but I didn't see the light come on the router and it supposedly happened on the 29th according to the ticket and my order tracker now says it's all done and dusted?Huh
I'm at work now so cant check but is there anyone who can confirm this?
Probably just another misinformation....

You have just got to keep us all posted on this one.

Re: House move help (from old forum) for comms team

Well nothing yet and no action in my street either, still blue rope coming out of the new ducts they laid.
Still have no idea what the information in my ticket means, says my phone number has been updated to the number i had in Southampton when i first signed up to plusnet!
I've lived in wales for 3 years now!
I didn't know I still even had that number anywhere on the system!

Re: House move help (from old forum) for comms team

So basically all the details that everything has now changed to are incorrect?
Is it the 01656 number that you are trying to get broadband on?

Re: House move help (from old forum) for comms team

Yes
The number and address at the start of the ticket are the right ones
The customer has requested a cease and re-provide of their ADSL service.
The cease is to take place on 19/07/2007.
The re-provide is to take place on 19/07/2007.
The customer is retaining the same product.
The Customer has selected Deferred House Move option.
The new address is ------------, Ogmore Vale, Mid Glamorgan, CF32 ***.
The CLI is 01656******.
It's same details are also in the account details section of the member centre.

Re: House move help (from old forum) for comms team

Yeah, that's what I thought was strange!
Bizarrely though, the CLI for the account IS showing the right telephone number and BTs system shows the order is having been completed.  I take it that there's no sync showing still?

Re: House move help (from old forum) for comms team

Nope, nothing at all, still an empty modem status page, no snr ratios no sync speed no modulation type just says "connecting" as always

Re: House move help (from old forum) for comms team

Ok thanks,
it's possible i suppose that it IS working and i've just not realised something isn't plugged in right etc but I doubt it if only because no more work has gone on thus far with the cabling and there's still blue rope poking out the ground ready for the next stage and also nothing has been done in conjunction with all the new markings that lead right up to my house.
MY router setup etc hasn't chaged since we were in the house before, same splitter and cable etc just unplugged from one house and plugged in again at the new one so I can't imagine it being that but I will make checks of course depending on the outcome of your findings.

Re: House move help (from old forum) for comms team

Thanks.
I'm on hold with BT currently (10 mins and counting) and it's currently looking like we're still on for December 17th, but Mr BT Dude if off speaking to Openreach currently to double check as it shouldn't have been marked completed on their systems.

Re: House move help (from old forum) for comms team

Ok, my neck now really hurt.  Must find headset!
The order hasn't been completed.  Work *should* be starting on the 13th.  They expect to have a better idea of exact timescales from Monday onwards.
Ignore the script ticket on your ticket, we've got a P2 open on this and it doesn't seem to have changed any of your addressing details.
