Re: House move+10 day training

Well,as usual the profile didnt update by itself so called PN to get them to nudge it. But,1st off the cs on the phone thought my speed had dropped and that i wanted it raised back, not that it`s gone higher and i wanted it raised to match!
!st time,he set it to 16.4mb, then to 18.1.........but he *couldn`t* set it higher than that for whatever reason (ticket raised...tho there`s none showing in my member center), but just looking back in there and it`s now back to 16.4mb!
What reason would there be for PN not to be able to raise the profile to the correct ammount?

Re: House move+10 day training

Profile doesn`t want to play ball in the member center at all,BT speedtest done this morning giving a 18.41Mbps profile compared to the 16.4 in the member center.
Bit of a issue with the CS i spoke to yesterday with regarding misinformation, but i`ll deal with that via tickets. Smiley

Re: House move+10 day training

Hi there, sorry to hear that - the feedback will be picked up from the ticket, but please let us know if we can help at all. In the mean time I've bumped your profile on our side to 18300, hope that improves things for you.

Re: House move+10 day training

At work currently, but I can see in the member centre that it's @ 18.3,so that should do the trick!
Thank you for sorting that Matt. 🙂

Re: House move+10 day training

Someone might need to look into the ticket #71690474 as it seems things have been put in place to raise my snr!
"I've ordered some changes to your line which should prevent the target SNR margin from dropping to 3dB again in the future, these changes will be made tomorrow (10/07/13) before midnight, and should provide continual protection from then onwards. " ...There are more details but you`ll see when you look. Smiley
Like i just stated in the reply to that ticket,i assumed that being less than 300 meters from the exchange and having a downstream att of 9db,having the snr @ 3db (adjusted by DLM from 6db....and predicted by OldJim!) would be expected from the 18,000kbps being a low sync for the distance/stats that i had and now being @...

Uptime: 0 days, 8:02:49
DSL Type: G.992.5 annex A
Maximum Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]: 1,336 / 20,664
Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]: 1,270 / 20,868
Data Transferred (Sent/Received) [MB/MB]: 48.36 / 686.31
Output Power (Up/Down) [dBm]: 12.0 / 16.5
Line Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]: 7.5 / 9.5
SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]: 7.0 / 3.0
.....with no noticeable problems everything would be fine!
Just trying to shut the stable door before the horse bolts really. Cheesy

Re: House move+10 day training

Hi anything but,
Looks like this order completed around 4am this morning, hope you've not noticed any changes to your sync speeds/profile? Please let us know either way, things are looking good from what we can see on our supplier's side of things.

Re: House move+10 day training

Router got turned off this morning when moving still unpacked boxes, but resulted in a even better sync!
Tho as per normal, the profile in the member centre needs a nudge to match the 19Mbps profile please. Smiley
