Re: High sync speed but desperately low throughput

Right ok.
This shouldn't work, but I'm going to temporarily move you over to BBYW Pro.
There shouldn't be any extra charges, but if there are, I'll get them refunded asap.

Re: High sync speed but desperately low throughput

Right, this has changed now.
Can you please try rebooting your modem/router and let me know how you get on?

Re: High sync speed but desperately low throughput

Sadly this hasn't helped, there was no noticeable change in the behaviour.
I tried running the BT speed test again last night but the connection wasn't good enough to even retrieve my account details, so I couldn't even start the actual test. Below are some stats from the router that I took:
Statistics Downstream Upstream
Line Rate 7392 Kbps 448 Kbps
Attainable Line Rate 8192 Kbps 1228 Kbps
Noise Margin 8.3 dB 25.0 dB
Line Attenuation 24.0 dB 12.5 dB
Output Power 19.8 dBm 12.0 dBm
I did find that the connection was dropped a couple of times yesterday evening and I had to reconnect.

Re: High sync speed but desperately low throughput

Are there any other connection test tools (downloadable or online) that might shed more light on this problem?
