I've just this minute joined and set up the router and got on the internet. First thing i did was check ping times to various places. Everything looks good except the first hop to the router; it's 100ms. Im using that thomson wireless one that comes with new orders.
I connect with a 3m ethernet lead. It's the same lead that i was using before to a netgear router at <1ms, so im thinking it isnt the lead, but i have no idea what else it is. Im running an MTU of 1492. I set up the connection by doing what it said in the guide. I cant think of any other information to give which might help.
