High Latency since lastnight

Hi,
Since last night I've been getting incredibly high latency on my broadband connection making it impossible to play online games, making website browsing slow and streaming intermittent. World of Warcraft was running between 1k-7k latency consistently throughout the evening until I gave up.
BBC Iplayer would play but occasionally stop telling me I didn't have enough bandwidth... upon refresh it would work fine again for 10-15 minutes.
Link Information
Uptime: 0 days, 0:30:52
DSL Type: G.992.5 annex A
Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]: 444 / 14,247
Data Transferred (Sent/Received) [kB/kB]: 0.00 / 0.00
Output Power (Up/Down) [dBm]: 12.5 / 0.0
Line Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]: 13.5 / 26.5
SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]: 29.5 / 4.0
Vendor ID (Local/Remote): TMMB / IFTN
Loss of Framing (Local/Remote): 0 / 0
Loss of Signal (Local/Remote): 0 / 0
Loss of Power (Local/Remote): 0 / 0
Loss of Link (Remote): 0
Error Seconds (Local/Remote): 0 / 0
FEC Errors (Up/Down): NA / 361,016
CRC Errors (Up/Down): NA / 15
HEC Errors (Up/Down): 0 / 14
The down SN Margin started at a heady 3.5 after i reset the router.
The IP Profile BT test gives me an error.
The full speed test gives
Download 10.5
Upload 0.08
Latency 128.13
And the estimated line speed is...
Estimated line speed:
There's no speed estimate currently held on your account.
Current line speed:
12.4 Mb
I cant test the test socket as I don't have one (new build house with... what i think is an External NTL?) however the router is plugged into the first socket in the chain upon entering the house.

Re: High Latency since lastnight

looking at them stats PlusNET could kindly uncap the upload as it's currently set at 448, this should help with things. Hopefully staff will pick this up when they start work (9am ish)
Hopefully this may solve the problem, if not http://faults.plusnet.net would be the next option

Re: High Latency since lastnight

This is my actual username... keep forgetting I have two.
Yes an uncap of the upload might help a bit, I've been meaning to ask about that for a while but not had any trouble so not really worked up the enthusiasm.

Re: High Latency since lastnight

Thank you Chris,
Hopefully that will help, although the problem is quite frustrating it might just fix itself in the meantime, but will let you know if I continue having trouble.
