My phoneline was damaged in the storms last week, and I lost phone service, but ADSL somehow kept working (just). However, now the line has been repaired, and the modem is syncing at a decent speed (about 3 Megabit) as it used to, but I'm still stuck at "Current line speed: 0.25 Mb" in the IP profile thing.
I'm aware this is updated automatically after 3 days (and yes, my router is left on all the time) but I'd just like to ask if a member of staff could nudge it for me, as it's barely usable at that speed and AFAIK there's no reason for it not to be working properly now. I know I'm being a bit impatient but I do rely on the connection for a lot of things, so the help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Check here if the BT profile has went up
www.speedtester.bt.com
if it has the PN staff will be able to nudge it.

Hi et0,
The SNR was 13dB which was probably caused by the fault. your BT profile is 135 still, so I've reset the SNR and this should give you a higher sync rate and the profile should get a kick too. I'll keep an eye on it for you.

Hi et0,
That seems to have done the trick. Your profile is now 4000, so you should see the increase shortly.

Certainly did, it's faster than it was before the line broke in fact. Thanks again for the great service!
