I was connected to ptn-ag01 when the problems started , restarted router and ended up on plc-ag01

Are you sure you've got that the right way?  Or do we have issues on ptn-ag01 I'm not aware of?

Believe so as once I realised I restarted again and got onto ptn-ag02  which is a little better (24Mb)
