Hi everyone, I'm new to these forums but have been a plusnet customer for a number of years and fortunate to say a happy one until recently...
About a month ago I rebooted by router and ever since then I've had ongoing problems with my broadband speed. Typically I was experiencing speeds of between 7-8Mbps, recently that has almost halved to around 4-5Mbps. I've done countless BT Wholesale speedtests and been through things with support but haven't been able to get anywhere so far. I'll try and provide as much information as I can on here but if I can post anything else to help just let me know?
On 25/11/2013 my router stats where as follows:
SNR Margin: 4.3dB
Attenuation: 47dB
Attainable Rate (Kbps): 9192
On 27/11/2013
SNR Margin: 4.6dB
Attenuation: 47dB
Attainable Rate (Kbps): 7860
On 07/12/2013
SNR Margin: 12.2dB
Attenuation: 47dB
Attainable Rate (Kbps): 7120
As of today (17/12/2013)
SNR Margin: 13.2
Attenuation: 47dB
Attainable Rate (Kbps): 4996
Can anyone provide me with an explanation of why this might be or let me know what I can possibly do to help resolve this? The support I've received from Plusnet to date hasn't been what I'd expect but appreciate to a point it may fall outside their control.
Many thanks

@cloudsuccess
Hi there,
Sorry to hear about the issue you've mentioned and sorry to see we haven't been able to reply back to the fault ticket yet.
I'm going to flag this up to our faults team to get that looked at ASAP.

Well... sadly this issue is still outstanding. BT Engineer scheduled to show up last week, needless to say didn't show (no notification or communication to let me know of course) - have told Plusnet but looks like their sat on my ticket, so no further forward and getting poor support from ISP and BT.
Frustrating that such poor support seems to be taken for granted these days

Nope and that's the first I've heard of it... thanks! Although the link states the amount paid it is (conveniently) not immediately obvious how to go about making such claim.
