Glasgow WiFi

Just found out that SPT are going to start offering wireless on the glasgow subway.
http://www.spt.co.uk/subway/wifi.html
A quote from the site:
[quote="SPT"]he cost will be that applied by your internet service provider (ISP) or moble phone operator. Details of the cellular operators and ISPs sharing the system are still being finalised.
Anyway do PN have any plans to offer a service over / is it something they could investigate to see if it would be possible / worthwhile offering a service in the Glasgow Subway?
I realise it's probably a small market, but IMO it would be brilliant if PN could offer a service in the Subway...

Re: Glasgow WiFi

Normally with a project like this you would have primary operators (EG O2, T-Mobile, BT Openzone etc) who would buy access to the network and which we could then resell if we wanted.
I'll see if I can find out who is involved in this particular project, but to be honest it's not something we would want to spend a lot of time on. It's the sort of thing plenty of people out there specialise in, and we always have to be careful not to get diverted from our main mission.
