Re: G.992.5 request :)

Will it be a forced re-sync from your end ? (Nothing important is running)
Noticed another system ticket #136980857 Is this just part of the  CCSNR  ?
Thx choo  Smiley

That was when Adam upgraded you to ADSL2+ you won't need a reboot, it'll kick in automatically. Smiley

Re: G.992.5 request :)

I'll try the standard PN 585v7 and see how things look.
So the all being well it should be 6db SNR up/down with Interleave depth 1 or 2.

Yep, the reset can take 24 hours though so you'll just have to be patient for now. I wouldn't really recommend messing around with your connection for the time being. Smiley

Re: G.992.5 request :)

After a pretty thunder/lighing storm(s) and a router reboot  the lines run fine over night at 6meg
Downside is it still looks like the DLM is up at 15db and now the bRAS TFT101 do not seem to be working.
The Service ID is: ************947
This is a 21CN line.
The current Downstream BRAS rate is: 4.04 Mbps
The current Upstream BRAS rate is: 0.83 Mbps

Current line speed:
3.2 Mb

Re: G.992.5 request :)

I notice that your bitloading graph shows a number of gaps where you would expect full usage (i.e the first 4 gaps from left to right). I have a similar issue on an otherwise good/clean line.
Can you provide the Tone numbers for those first 4 gaps and any Vendor information for the router and MSAN chipsets?
cheers

Thanks Choo  Wink
It seems that your line shows the same quirks as a number of others regarding certain tones as discussed here.

Re: G.992.5 request :)

Those 2-wires are damn good performers. Some interesting info they provide as well, I see it's identified 13 tones it reckons are affected by Impulse Noise. I guess Comp. stands for compromised in this case?
I see the first 3 tones with no bits allocated match those tones missing in the ADSL1 & ADSL2 modes identified by Graham. What's causing the remaining 10 tones to be compromised is an interesting question (other than the one that is a broadcast station).

Re: G.992.5 request :)

Seems like the 15db target is still active.
If fixed profiles are not an option any more , can the the line be set so it doesn't reach an Indicative Line Quality of RED ?
Thanks choo  Smiley
