Free routers??

Hi Plusnetters,
Is anyone willing to get rid of their old routers, would be grateful if I could take them of your hands please.  Wink

Remember to delete your account details before parting with them, anyone!

...and remember to ask Plusnet to delete the router from their database so that it doesn't auto-configure the deleted details if plugged in to another Plusnet line!

I believe newer plusnet routers have TR069 (summat like that)
but other brands yes do reset your routers for security.

Use them, Try them if they are good will post reviews etc.... I won't necessary sell them but will keep them in my dedicated equipment drawer. In there I have 2 BT home hub3 type a nd b and 2 netgears supplied by plusnet. I run tests on them, use them on my wifi to see if they are worth it.  If not i will offer return or will keep them handy

You are on fibre so none of the old routers will work.

Yes on fibre but have 2 phone lines, handy tho!

With broadband on the second one - a bit of a waste of money unless you must have redundancy in case of failure

yep ADSL on one with plusnet and other one with plusnet fibre.  one in my partner's name
