Routefinder that might be worth doing. Check if your councill has submitted for funding from the BDUK.

The problem is that the information given there often is not correct.
My local cab is enabled for FTTC (and PN said end of September for orders being taken). It has a nice notice on it telling me that Fibre is available now and to phone BT.  But the wholesale checker gives no indication at all that FTTC is even planned.
