Fibre and phone line

Ok, this is probably a dumb question but if I ever get fibre, do I still have to have a phone line ?

Yes you will always need to have a phone connection with broadband

I just thought that if FTTH was a different line, then you wouldn't need a telephone line. ( I really dislike telephones).
