To be honest with you, having had 72Mb for a few months now, I can't see a requirement of much more than 50Mb (if that).
Yes it's nice to have the odd burst when you're downloading something quite large but for 99.9% of the time, I could probably make do with a 20Mb connection and that is if all three of us are using it here.
I'd rather have a 55Mb stable line than a 78Mb "on the edge" connection.
