Fibre Broadband and landlords

Hi there! We've been with Plusnet for many years, currently on unlimited ordinary broadband. We'd like to switch to Unlimited Fibre broadband, but it seems as if this requires a lot of work from the engineer. We live in rented accommodation and we are wondering if this is the kind of job that requires our landlord's permission, or is it something that we can easily undo when we leave? Thanks for any help! Re: Fibre Broadband and landlords

Most of what the engineer does is at the local cabinets,  the only required change in the home is to replace the faceplate on the Master Socket to a new VDSL compatible one (http://www.clarity.it/vdsl_nte5_adaptor_faceplate.htm).
The only time more work is done is if you want the master socket moved or want  a data extension cable installed.
